Welcome!
The Kostas Tsampazis Nurseries business, with agronomist Maria Chantzatoglou as technical manager, specialises in producing medium and large outdoor ornamental plants and has operated successfully from its base in Ionia, Thessaloniki, since 1959.
Our passion for the sector, our expertise and our ambition for continuous growth have been decisive in shaping the business as it is today and its leading role in floriculture – particularly in landscaping for urban and peri-urban green spaces and in supplying outdoor ornamental plants to private- and public-sector landscaping contracts and local authorities.
The business operates from its own premises in Diavata, Thessaloniki. To meet the ever-growing demand for plants in the Greek market, it expanded in 2002, purchasing 200 stremmata (20 hectares) of land near the Kilkis Industrial Area and building new, modern facilities that ensure higher quality and greater plant volumes.
Responding to the new challenges of our time, and to young people's return to farming with alternative crops and aromatic plants that promise a good income, our company has taken on the task of informing young farmers and promoting alternative-crop plants (sea buckthorn, goji berry, aronia, blueberry, currants, etc.) and aromatic plants (lavender, rosemary, oregano, mint, thyme, sage, etc.).
Our customers include agronomists, landscape architects, contractors for private and public landscaping projects, and plant-trading businesses.
The business holds the special licences issued by the Ministry of Rural Development for the production and trade of outdoor ornamental plants, and is inspected by the Regional Centres for Plant Protection and Quality Control (KEPPYEL) of Thessaloniki and Kilkis.
