Our business, owned by Konstantinos Tsampazis, continues the family business founded in 1959 by Athanasios Tsampazis. Based in Diavata, Thessaloniki, where its main garden centre stands on ten stremmata (one hectare), it produces and sells ornamental trees and shrubs.

Growing need and demand for ornamental plants from the 1990s onwards led us to expand our facilities, and in 2002 we created a new 200-stremma (20-hectare) production unit at Iliolousto, Kilkis (opposite the Kilkis Industrial Area).

The site includes greenhouse facilities for propagating plants from seed and cuttings under controlled temperature and relative humidity. The young plants are then potted on and set out in rows outdoors or in greenhouses, depending on the species and the time of transplanting.

Many of these plants are then planted out in open ground to grow into large shrubs and trees. Once they reach a suitable size, they are carefully lifted, potted and set out in rows.
